Cooking time 15 min.
- Set the oven on broil.
- Place the baguette halves on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with the olive oil.
- Broil for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and top the halves with the sauce. Add mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Place the cherry tomatoes, cut side up, on top of the cheese and season with salt and black pepper.
- Return to the oven. Broil until cheese is melted and tomatoes are warmed through.
- Top with basil and serve.
