ELENA SIMPLE TOMATO SAUCE

- Heat 3 tbsp. (45 ml) of Stefano extra-virgin olive oil in a pot.
- Brown the garlic cloves in the oil.
- Add the tomatoes and continue cooking for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Add the whole basil leaves.
- Continue cooking, stirring for 5 minutes.
- Take the garlic out of the sauce, using a fork puree the garlic and put it back into the sauce.
- Add salt to taste and another 3 tbsp (45 ml) of olive oil.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve.
