Après-ski or post-match meal? Chili. It's cold outside? Chili. Having family over? Chili. With the slow cooker, you can prepare everything in the morning and leave it to cook all day so it's ready for dinner. Don't we all just love chili?

  1. In a large Dutch oven or casserole type pot  over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until evenly browned. Drain off excess fat , and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine the cooked beef, kidney beans, Stefano tomato basil and meat sauce , celery, red bell pepper. Season with chili powder, cumin,  and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to distribute ingredients evenly.
  3. Cook on High for 6 hours, or on Low for 8 hours.
